Tin Anniversary

A decade of marriage. 11 years together. The rest of our lives to go.

I love you, Alex.

Wool Anniversary

Dear Alex

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary. Reminiscences of our wedding day this morning made me smile and think “wow, we’ve come a long way”. We’ve been together for 9 years, married for 7 years and blessed with two kids. Aren't you glad we said "I do" ? I am. Thank you for continuously putting up with my crap and loving me the way you do.

Iron Anniversary: No frying pan please

Six years ago today I married this guy called Alex.

Huguon Siou wannabe :)

Our love story goes like this. We met in school (where we were both teaching), he made the move, we dated and then he proposed. The End.  I've talked about the moment we fell for each other here and here so I won't mention it again. It's overly corny but if you think you can take it, go ahead and read.

We got engaged after seven months of dating....

That's the vintage me :)

and tied the knot a year later.

1.1.2005...Kasian kan my hubby's make up?

After marriage, we got busy working on a special project. It took nine months to establish and another nine to complete. Here's the finished product.

Three years later, we got busy again. This time God gifted us with an adorable baby girl named Alva.

And that's how we ended up being a family of four.

I have really enjoyed our six years of partnership and I'm looking forward to many many many more years to come.

Happy Anniversary dear. Thank you for teaching me the definition of love and putting up with my crap.

Wood Anniversary

Five years ago today, I said I DO to this charming guy.

This may sound overly corny to you but I think I fell in love with him when he kneeled  down to shake sand off my feet at Rasa Ria. At that moment, it was as if cleaning my feet was his only mission in life. I was touched cos he did it in such a humble manner which made me feel like a million bucks. When he was done cleaning, he helped with my sandals and finished the job with a happy 'Ta Da' look. My heart skipped a beat. He could be the one, I thought excitedly. Before I could say anything, he stood up, took me in his arms and...okay I'll stop here. I just remembered my sister reads this site.

Anyway, after this feet-dusting episode, we hit it off and he proposed a month later. The rest as they say is history.

This year's anniversary is extra special cos we've added a new addition to our family.  With Alva in the picture, we have more tantrums to handle at home and less time for ourselves. Nevertheless,  we can't help but feel blessed for having them in our lives.

I am looking forward to the day ten years from now when hubby and I are sharing a special moment to remember how it all started and what we have achieved together.

Happy New Year and Happy 5th Anniversary dear.
